A USF win against the Orangemen would be a giant step forward for the Bulls. A loss would be devastating for the Bulls and for CWT. Navy is facing a highly ranked independent and how they perform reflects on the conference. The Middies usually give the Irish a tough game. ECU can match up with BYU size wise and has a chance to take one on the road.
I think BYU is the measuring stick to see which conference is better, the AAC or the MW once the season is over. BYU plays 4 MW teams and 3 AAC teams. BYU in my mind is acceptable to the Big 12. It's almost like the Big 12 is asking "What other teams can play on the level of BYU?" Kind of a test marketing thing.
