Interesting OOC matchups with the SEC. Tulsa travels to Arkansas to meet the Razorbacks Both teams are in the bottom of their conferences. In the other match up Memphis travels to Columbia to meet Missouri in a battle of mid conference teams. These 2 games are big tests for the AAC. If the AAC teams win both games it will give the conference a big boost. If the AAC games lose both games by close margins there won’t be huge damage to the AAC.

Cincy travels to Philly to play Temple. For the Owls, stud RB Ryquell Armstead has a lower leg injury that caused him to miss the Navy game. He is day to day as far as playing against the Bearcats. My bet is that he plays. Cincy RB Michael Warren II has outperformed Armstead to date in yardage (664 to 626), yards per carry (5.4 to 5.1), rushing TDs (11-6), with both playing 6 games. Bearcat true freshman QB Desmond Ridder is 82-125 (65.6%) for 1062 yards, 10 TDs, 2 ints. Owls redshirt freshman QB Anthony Russo is 88-150 (58.7%) for 1173 yards, 6 TDs, 7 ints. Since Russo took over at QB for Nutile, the Owls are 4-1. This game is the top AAC game of the week. Russo is an athletic kid and he is improving. I think it is a mistake to play Armstead just coming off a lower leg injury that was bad enough to put him on crutches. Cincy has a tough team, but those Philly kids protect their house very well. Temple should not be under rated. This will be a good game.
