Third quarter we fall down 17-7 as FSU scored on their first two drives of the second half. We drive the ball and have success on three straight runs, and then we start throwing the ball and end up punting. I mentioned in another thread that I am a little more pessimistic this week than last and I think a lot of it has to do with this drive. We get 5, 14 and 16 on 3 runs and have them out of sync and then go away from that. I'm not saying we win, I'm saying we didn't stick with what was working. Go tempo, prevent them from subbing and use the backs. Also, on 3rd and 7 from the 37 they passed and then punted. That should be 2 down territory as it was clear FSU had found a way to move the ball. Thoughts?
