They look really bad.

Surprisingly Bench has been the best looking QB out there. He has serious arm limitations throwing the deep ball, and his arm strength and passing allows players to get jump on the ball, but he had the best body language and accuracy of the bunch by far. He's been good at rollouts, shorts. And end around executing well. He actually started practice with the 1s after Mike had the 1s Monday.

Mike White looks really terrible. No command of the huddle, and no competitive fire. In no pads, he's hitting wide receivers at the feet and ground conistently. He's really bad at rollouts don't think he it one rollout pass. Painful to watch him on designed runs out of pocket.several interceptions.

Quenton Flowers has a problem handling simple things like center to QB exchanges, hand offs, snd end arounds. Ball was on the ground several times, Ala Matt Floyd. He's the only one in practice that showed signs of a Playmaker of big plays though. Had a big passing TD this week, snd while they couldn't tackle him broke out in the open on several runs for big gains.

Despite how bad Mike White looks, Taggart will never put him ahead of Mike. Part of it is Mike is a great, respectful, well liked team kid which Taggart likes, also Tags won't admit the last 2 years as Mike as Starter was a mistake.Bench has ruffled Taggart the wrong way. Kid is brash and cocky, isn't afraid to tell the coaches and players what he thinks.and honestly Taggart and the coaches doesn't think he has the talent to be a starter, and they're right he doesnt. He lacks arm strength, and is an interception machine. He loses games because he tries to do too nuch and over estimates his ability. Somebody ask Joey Knight If He's Out There , He'll Tell You Mike White isn't good we can all see it.

Bench isn't going to get a fair shake, and I'm glad he's not. He's had plans to graduate this spring and transfer since the end of last spring. I guess he's good for depth and competition, he is a competitor just not a good one.

Flowers is better for this offense than Mike. And it shows out there 1st few spring practices. Players rally around him also more than any qb. Reactions to his plays are more emphatic by teammates and coaches. He needs to handle the simple plays and not make mental mistakes by putting ball on ground like he does. But he's dynamic, and can make plays.

Flowers will win the spring and go into fall as Starter imo. But none of them are very good, and it will be a graduate transfer QB that is named a starter this season.

Maybe somebody can give live updates at 1st padded practice today on qbs.
